Arrival at "Hamburg Hauptbahnhof" or "Bahnhof Hamburg Dammtor".
By plane
Hamburg Airport (IATA: HAM, ICAO: EDDH) is located in the north of the city in the district Fuhlsbüttel.
The airport can be reached by public transport. There are busses and a city train (S-Bahn).
The S-Bahn S1 connects the main station and the airport in just 25 minutes. It departs every 10 minutes. The S-Bahn station "Hamburg Airport (Flughafen)" can be reached directly from Terminals 1 and 2 (arrivals) via lifts, escalators and stairs. You can change to the subway U1 one stop after "Hamburg Airport", at the U-Bahn and S-Bahn station "Ohlsdorf".

Getting around Hamburg
Public transport in Hamburg consists of buses, subways (U-Bahn), city trains (S-Bahn), car pool services and taxis. The Hamburger Verkehrsverbund (hvv) manage and coordinate the public mass transport with busses, ferries and certain trains.
Tickets
A range of single, daily and weekly tickets that are valid for all buses, trains and ferries are available at hvv ticket machines.
The hvv app is recommended for ticket purchases. They can also be purchased at ticket machines for a small surcharge. Bus tickets can also be purchased on the bus (no cash, only by prepaid card!!).

Additionally, there is also the Deutschlandticket, offering unlimited access to local and regional mobility all over Germany for €49 per month. Please note that this ticket comes as a subscription service, and not as a one-off ticket. Still, for visitors staying a week or longer, this may be a worthwhile alternative.

There are a large number of hotels nearby the venue.
It is recommended to book as early as possible, as the European Championship quarter-finals will be hosted in Hamburg on the 5th of July.
