This Wednesday, 25.11.2020 we had the pleasure to welcome Dr. Szilárd Engelhardt as guest speaker at an internal lecture of the institute. His lecture was entitled "Interplay of spoken and signed morphology. Report on a Postdoc Research on Hungarian Sign Language (MJNY)".
Thanks to Dr. Szilárd Engelhardt, current DFG scholarship holder at the Institute of German Sign Language and Communication of the Deaf, and despite minor technical difficulties, we got a good insight into the complex research field of mouthings at the interface between spoken and sign languages.
After a introduction in DGS, the lecture was held in German and interpreted into German Sign Language.
Many interested students and staff members of the institute participated in the online lecture and the subsequent question and answer session.
We would like to thank the speaker and all participants!
