In the final session of the lecture series "International Sign Language Research. Current Discussions", we were pleased to welcome Dr. Anne Therese Frederiksen from the University of California, Irvine. In her talk with the title "Referential Cohesion & the Referential Hierarchy in American Sign Language", Dr. Frederiksen presented a series of her studies on how American Sign Language users understand and produce referential expressions. Many interested students and staff members of the institute participated in the online lecture and the subsequent question and answer session.
