An eventful year is coming to an end - but of course one event cannot be missing to make the year complete: the winter party at IDGS!
On the evening of 16 December, students and staff gathered via Zoom and enjoyed the colourful programme for an hour.
After a few warm greetings from the Institute's directors Szilàrd Ràcz-Engelhardt and Fabian Bross, nostalgia was awakened in many with "Dalli Klick", where the aim was to recognise famous Deaf personalities as quickly as possible. Simon Kollien performed particularly well here, recognising the most people the fastest through his lightning-fast reactions. Other highlights were the performances by the first-year students, who recited an ABC story and a poem. A tradition that could not be missed, of course, was Stefan Goldschmidt's performance, which was a great success as always. The evening was rounded off with a sketch by the 5th interpreting semester, in which the students charmingly portrayed the processes in the brain during the interpreting process.
After the official programme, the breakout rooms were opened for a casual exchange.
We thank all participants, are already looking forward to next year and send our warmest regards!
