The Institute for German Sign Language and Communication of the Deaf at the University of Hamburg announces a full and permanent W2 professorship for "Sign Language Interpreting and Sign Languages" to begin as soon as possible. The position holder is expected to be able to represent the subjects of sign language interpreting and sign languages in teaching and research with a focus on sign language linguistics, sign language culture and/or sign language technology in their entirety.

Curriculum vitae, list of publications, evidence of teaching experience as well as experience and success in the acquisition and implementation of third-party funded projects, copies of certificates and documents, three representative publications, statement of ideas for future research and teaching as well as, if applicable, evidence of lectures given, posters produced, important own functions in organizations.
