Short summary about the 73rd StuTS-Isabeau Lettow

From 25 to 29 May 2023 the 73rd “Studentische Tagung der Sprachwissenschaft” ( = Student Conference of Linguistics, also called StuTS) took place in Frankfurt am Main. The aim of the StuTS-conference is to give students from a variety of linguistic backgrounds the opportunity to share their knowledge by giving presentations or attend workshops – complemented by keynotes and a colourful social programme. Students from all over Germany and even from international universities were present. Isabeau Lettow, who is currently studying at the IDGS, gave a talk about “Die Funktion von Anführungszeichen in der Deutschen Gebärdensprache” (= The function of quotation marks in German Sign Language). The next StuTS will take place in Vienna from October 26-29, 2023.
