From Sept. 27th to 30th, 2022, the conference TISLR14 (Theoretical Issues in Sign Language Research) was held in Osaka, Japan in a hybrid format.
Sarah Schwarzenberg participated in the SIGNopsiscompetition, a format in which PhD students and early career researchers present their work in a concise, informative, and entertaining five-minute video.
Ten junior sign language linguists participated in this competition.
With her video "A first approach to identifying metaphors of German Sign Language in the domain of cognition" Sarah convinced the audience and won second place.
