In their presentation "Searching for negative polarity items in DGS" on 13 January 2023, Cornelia Loos and Marc Schulder showed how they use the recordings and annotations of the DGS corpus to find negative polarity items in German Sign Language. Here they use a combination of quantitative search and qualitative analysis. The 53rd annual meeting of the North East Linguistic Society was held in Göttingen this year.
