Workshop on sentence repetition tasks for D*deaf children

On 19 and 20 March 2026, a workshop on the topic of ‘Sentence repetition rasks for D*deaf children’ was held, organised by the IDGS (GW) and the D2L team (EW). We were delighted to welcome guests from the Netherlands, Italy and Switzerland to Hamburg. All teams are working on this topic, so we were able to share our experiences. After each team had presented their own test and its current stage of development, we moved on to the discussion and the exchange. The focus was primarily on the evaluation and the challenges involved.
To conclude, ideas were shared on how sentence repetition tests can be prepared for future practical application in the field. It was a wonderful meeting that provided plenty of motivation and inspiration for further work. Everyone agreed that the workshop should be continued in the future. Many thanks to everyone involved!
