German Scholarship

This year again, two IDGS students are supported by the Deutschlandstipendium at the University of Hamburg. Lara and Til from the Sign Language Interpreting major and minor were honoured by the Boris Winkelmann Foundation of the DPD at the award ceremony for the Deutschlandstipendien 2023 on 16 February 2023. The celebratory programme included an address by President Dr Hauke Heekeren, musical and dance interludes, followed by snacks and drinks during the opportunity to interact with their own sponsoring and sponsored peers. Lara and Til look back on their year in the scholarship programme with great gratitude.
