Presentation of the new website of "Taubwissen"

On 5 May 2023, the sustainable Internet presence of the portal "Taubwissen" was presented with various contributions. The two-hour event could be visited on site or via ZOOM. On Taubwissen there are many videos about the life, the language, the culture and about the history of deaf people in the sign language community in Germany. In total, you will find more than 780 videos in DGS. The portal is aimed at deaf people, people learning DGS as a foreign or second language, research communities, as well as the interested public. The project Taubwissen is a valuable cultural heritage of the German sign language community. Taubwissen is now available online for everyone on a long-term basis.
