Lecture by Aminamu Maimaitiming

On July 15, 2025, Aminamu Maimaitiming gave a lecture entitled “Changes due to language contact in the languages of China: Evidence from Uyghur-Chinese and Chinese Sign Language (CSL)”. In her lecture, she presented initial research results in the field of language contact and sign language research, which was of great interest and received positive feedback from the participating students and staff.

During her research stay at the IDGS, Aminem Maimaitiming had the valuable opportunity to work and exchange ideas on a professional environment. She emphasized that the lively academic atmosphere and scientific spirit at the IDGS had greatly inspired her. We wish Aminamu Maimaitiming all the best in her future research and look forward to her valuable contributions to the further development of linguistics!
