We welcome Anne Wienholz as new visiting professor at IDGS! We are very pleased that we were able to win her as successor to Dr. Calle Börstell.
Anne Wienholz received her doctorate in linguistics from the University of Göttingen, where she studied language processing in DGS signers. At the University of Boston, she spent the last two years as a post-doctoral researcher in the "Deaf Studies" program. She investigates various factors that influence the perception and speech processing of sign language users. We are very happy that Anne Wienholz landed in Germany healthy and on time despite the restricted air traffic in the course of the current coronavirus pandemic.
A very warm welcome!
