GSD+ student conference 2023

This year, students at the IDGS are organising the student conference GSD+ (Sign Language Interpreting Plus) in cooperation with the institute. The conference will take place from 4 - 5 November 2023.

The GSD+ student conference is a tradition that already stretches back several years. Every year or two, students of Sign Language Interpreting, Sign Language and Deaf Studies from all locations across Germany come together to take part in workshops and lectures and network with one another. This year’s conference will take place in Hamburg, and the organisational team has put together a programme that covers a wide range of topics from sign language and interpreting to research and culture. We look forward to enjoying a weekend of new input, many new impressions and intensive exchange!
