Taster course in sign language for Deutschlandstipendium holders

On 15 May 2024, our colleagues Britta Harms and Alexander Eisenzimmer gave a workshop on sign language interpreting for scholarship holders of the Deutschlandstipendium. The students were sensitized to the topics of deafness and German Sign Language and were able to learn their first signs. The students were very interested in taking part in the workshop, but unfortunately not everyone was able to attend due to the limited number of available places. We hope to be able to offer the workshop again in the future and thus sensitise an even larger group to the topic.
