On 25 June, 2025, IDGS students had the opportunity to practice interpreting from DGS into spoken German (also known as “voicing”) in an authentic situation. As part of the senior citizens' café at the Deaf Center in Kiel, Deaf lawyer Judith Hartmann gave an informative lecture on the topic of guardianship law.

We would like to thank the Deaf Association of Schleswig-Holstein for this valuable experience and look forward to our next visit!
