Opening of the exhibition of long-term projects by the Hamburg Academy of Sciences

After more than a year of preparation, the exhibition of long-term projects by the Hamburg Academy of Sciences was officially opened on 16 October 2025. As the DGS Corpus Project was the Academy's first long-term project, it is naturally also part of the exhibition. A great deal of preparation, time and passion went into making the entire exhibition accessible to deaf people. All texts are available in DGS, accessible via QR code. The texts for the audio guides to the other projects were translated and recorded in collaboration with interpreting students and Andrea Schaffers as part of an interpreting seminar.


The exhibition can be seen until 15 December 2025 in the exhibition space of the State and University Library.
