The project DaZiel: German as a Target Language and Bilingual Educational Work with Deaf Employees has been running since 1 July 1999. It is headed by Professor Renate Fischer. The main objective of the project is to design, produce and test teaching/learning materials for use in group lessons that are specifically tailored towards situations typically encountered by deaf adults in their working lives. The materials are published online and are continuously updated and supplemented. They consist of exercise instructions, pictures, films, etc. that can be downloaded and printed out free of charge. It’s worth taking a look!
