DGS-Basic Course Levels I and II

The DGS Basic Course is intended for adult beginners in DGS. It does not require any previous knowledge of DGS. It is helpful for participants if they attend a course on non-verbal communication (NVC) beforehand, however, as this gives them the chance to gain a better understanding of their body’s role in delivering language in a fun and playful way. NVK covers body language, facial expressions and mime. The DGS basic course also contains some NVK exercises, however, as part of the “educational games”.
