DGS Corpus
DGS-Corpus is a long-term project by the Academy of Sciences in Hamburg. Its purpose is to document and research German Sign Language (DGS). It aims to collect sign language texts from deaf people and make them partly available to the public as a corpus. Within the project duration of 19 years, the DGS German dictionary will be compiled on the basis of the corpus data. The corpus is intended to be representative of the everyday language used by deaf people throughout Germany.
